What to Focus on
In today's world, you can scroll the internet and find about 50 bajillion things to do for workouts or 50 bajillion things you need to do for a diet.... but the thing is most things can be done and get ya results in a short term period of time...but the thing is it has to work for the long term.
A workout program you follow needs to be sustainable....if you are so sore you can't function...you will probably get in shape in the short term, but can you keep that up long term. Hopefully a workout brings you energy and helps make you stronger for all the other areas of your life...
Exercise can help bring you vitality.
Nutrition is one of those hot topics because at some point or another most people want to lose weight. There are so many diets or even drugs out there like GLPs, but you want to be able to find a way to eat for life so you can enjoy the foods you love plus feel good too. Our food choices effect how much energy we have, how we sleep, how we exercises and even how we eat. Protein will help keep you full longer and help you build muscle... something the majority of us want. Finding balance in your nutrition will help long term.
Another thing to focus on is sleep. If you don't sleep well- your behaviors are effected along with your mood. If you are tired, you are less likely to eat well or get a workout in. Heck Netflix and the couch sound alot better on a day when your tired then going to the gym.
Mindset is one thing that certainly needs a focus. How you think changes everything. If you think that you can accomplish something, it will certainly change how go about accomplishing it...Think positive and believe in yourself.
To break it down, four simple things:
Exercise
Nutrition
Sleep
Mindset
All of these simple to say but to find a great long term way to success is not always easy. Keep working at those goals and never give up.
